The Problem
Are your home workouts painful?
You’ve bought the training weights you want. You’ve looked up videos on YouTube on some of the recommended workouts. All that’s left to do is to start training. You begin with the basic exercises to train your core.
Sit-ups and crunches.
But after just five minutes, you back is aching. The floor is simply too hard and rigid, and it’s really hurting your back. There’s a really easy solution to all this though.
MFC Exercise Mat
For all the serious fitness enthusiasts out there, you probably already appreciate having an exercise mat. After all, it does make the workout a lot more comfortable. You don’t have to deal with niggling back pains later on. Furthermore, it also insulates you from having to lie on the cold hard floor.
This equipment is a must get, especially if you are used to doing workouts on the floor. You’ll appreciate the different almost instantly.
Why This Equipment?
There are so many benefits to having an exercise mat.
First of all, it keeps your back healthy. No longer do you have to workout whilst lying on the hard ground. Your workout becomes a lot more comfortable because of this.
Secondly, it also protects your floor. This is especially so if you have weights like dumb bells or barbells at home. These weights may not always be coated with rubber, so any incidental impact on the ground could damage the floor. By exercising with an exercise mat, you minimise the chance of that happening, as it provides an additional layer of protection.
Another benefit you get to enjoy is hygiene. It is almost inevitable that you will sweat when working out. Rather than have your sweat dripping all over the floor, it only comes into contact with the mat. A quick wash, rinse, and dry, and the exercise mat is ready to be reused again.

What This Equipment Can Do For You
Impact-Free
Your long-term health is the most important when working out. There is no point trying to improve your body when your health suffers. This happens when we don’t take care of our knees, elbows, and tailbones when doing floor work. Mats help to protect these areas.
Hygiene
An exercise mat is a good place to workout, since you will inevitably be sweating. Rather than have your sweat all over the floor, they will simply be dripping onto the mat. These mats can then be cleaned later on, and ready to be used again.
Durable
There is a distinct difference between good mats and the not-so-good ones. Since you will be working out on the mat itself, it must maintain its shape over time. Quality mats, like the ones at MFC, do not dent or change shape no matter how long you have been using them.
Convenient
An exercise mat is probably the most convenient training equipment you can have. Unlike other items, they can be easily rolled and stored away. They don’t take up much space. Not only that, they are lightweight, and can be handily carried and moved around.
How It works
4 Different Exercise Mats
Type 1:
General Exercise Mat
These are the ones that individuals who train at home usually use. They are fantastic as a workout support, and are designed in such a way as to cushion your whole body. This makes ground work much easier and more comfortable.
Using this mat in the long term goes a long way in helping protect your knees, arms, and tailbones. Even if you are just getting started on your fitness journey, these maps are a great utility tool. You can use them for basic workouts such as crunches and sit-ups.
Type 2:

The materials that make these mat differs. Usually, they are made from PVC, but can also be made from hemp or cotton.
Type 4:
Pilates Exercise Mat
Pilates mat are slightly thicker than yoga mats. It’s no wonder, since this activity has a greater focus on the functional movements as compared to yoga. Whilst most mats have both surfaces being made from the same kind of materials, there could be some variations.
Some Pilates mat, for example, have a more grippy surface on the bottom only. The top is more smooth, allowing for a smoother transition between the different movements. They are also usually made of closed cell foam structure, making them easy-to-clean.
