The Problem
Muscles Are Aching? Body Is Sore?
Feeling sore and tired after workouts? Feeling aches and pains all over your body?
No matter if you are using weights like dumbbells to train, or machines like the treadmill to run, you’ll always need to do the proper cool down exercises. They are very important, since these exercises can help return your muscles to their optimal length-tension relationship. But what available options are there to help you warm down properly?
MFC Foam Rollers
Foam rollers are long and cylindrical in shape. They are integral training equipment, with many athletes using them for cool down exercises. In fact, foam roller is part of a technique called the myofascial release, which helps to relax and rehabilitate tight muscles. This is usually done at the end of an intense workout.
Why This Equipment?
As you exercise, your muscles may be held in a specific position for long periods of time. This can create tissue adhesions, where collagens form between different layers of skeletal muscles. Ultimately, this restricts the ability of your muscle sheaths to slide against one another.
When you use a foam roller, it helps to prevent this exact problem. It creates friction and pressure, thereby reducing the chances of tissue adhesion. Not only that, by using a foam roller, you can induce more oxygen into the muscles. This helps the muscles repair themselves, leading to the muscle growth that you want.
Foam rollers are an essential part of cooling down exercises. They are not just limited to your arms and legs. You can use them for all your body parts that has the potential to feel sore. This includes both your back and your neck.
