The Problem
Not targeting different muscle groups well enough?
If you are looking through this page, you must be well ahead in your fitness goals. After all, only the most serious fitness enthusiast are dedicated enough to buy workout benches for their homes. You might even have started building a mini gym in your very own home.
However, there are many different kinds of workout benches available. How do you know which one is the best for you?
MFC Workout Benches
Workout benches are essentials in every home gym set up. They allow you to do proper weight training, since the different inclines of these benches allow you to work different angles on different muscle group. They greatly minimise the risk of training injuries, whilst allowing you to train in a faster and more efficient manner.
Why This Equipment?
If you have done weightlifting exercises both in the gym and in your own homes, you’ll notice the difference immediately. Without the weight bench you normally use in a gym, you tend to feel a lot more unstable. It also deprives you of the confidence you need to do a proper stress-free workout, since you always have half a mind trying to maintain your balance.
A workout bench rids your of these home workout concerns. With a weight bench, you now have greater control over your movements.
Not only that, workout benches are also highly versatile. They allow you to set up different inclines and angles, thereby allowing you to target different muscle groups more effectively. Furthermore, they can be used as a “step-up” option or even as a platform to do your pushups.
Features
What This Equipment Can Do For You
Comfortable Padding
The padding on the workout benches affect your comfort level. In fact, if it is too hard and rigid, it may even cause your long-term back injuries. Our work benches are all equipped with thick padding that make your workouts a bit more comfortable.
Great Durability
There is no point purchasing a workout bench if it’s not going to last you a lifetime. You’ll be burning money otherwise. In constructing our workout benches, we use only top quality materials. These materials are anti-rust, thereby allowing great durability in these benches.
Unwavering Support
Since these workout benches not only have to support your body weight, but the weight of the additional equipment you are using as well, they have to be strong. Our work benches are therefore made from tough, strong, and materials specifically to support large weights.
Flexible Angles
It’s great if your workout bench can do one thing well. But it’s even better if it can do many things well. With adjustable benches, you are able to get in any kind of workout you like. Whether that’s targeting your biceps, triceps, or shoulders, our bench will be there to help you
How It works
4 Different Workout Benches
Type 1:
Flat Workout Bench
The most basic kind of workout bench, it is also one of the cheapest out there. Whilst it may not offer the full range of angles like the adjustable workout bench, it is still more than sufficient for the basic workouts. They can also support great weights, since they are already mechanically stable.
Doing bicep curls, chest presses with dumbbells, or flyes? Then this bench is suitable for you. It can even be used for step up exercises that train your cardiovascular fitness.
Type 2:
Adjustable Workout Bench
The most popular bench type, adjustable workout benches are the ones that you find at your local gym. They are also commonly called FID, short for flat-incline-decline. Since they can be set to varying angles, the range of plausible exercises that are now available to you sharply increases.
For example, you can now do inline presses that target specifically your upper chest. That was not previously possible with the workout bench.
Some models offer five to six different positions, whilst other more advanced ones offer more than ten. The choice is really yours to make.
Type 3:
Abdominal Bench
Having trouble doing sit-ups or crunches when you exercise alone? That is exactly what these abdominal benches are for. They come with attachments at the end, allowing you to latch your leg onto when doing these abdominal exercises.
More advanced version even used these attachments as weight. This allows you to do leg curl and other lower body exercises.
Type 4:
Olympic Workout Bench
These benches are less likely found in homes, especially in Singapore, since they take up significant amounts of space. In exchange for that however, they provide you with the ultimate safety guarantee.
They also open up yet another possibility. Barbell exercises. Whilst it is still possible with the previous benches, barbell exercises are now a lot safer, since the racks at the side can be used to provide support. Furthermore, you no longer have to lift these weights from the ground up every time you exercise.
