“How I met Patrick was when he walked over to me and offered to give me some tips while I was practicing my tennis serve. The moment he demonstrated, I know he is the guy I need to train under. You will know what I mean if you see him play.
I have been to 2 academy/ schools (without naming but you can easily Google them), by far I have learnt the most under him.
He pushed me to my limit and more importantly, demonstrated the technique instead of just “preaching” the theory, which is where we can learn the most. Nothing beats having a coach demonstrating it with real strength and combining it with theory.

“Patrick is professional and always goes the extra mile to provide quality coaching. He NEVER cancels. The only time he has ever moved a lesson was when it was about to rain and he did so early (saving me from having to travel down) because he actually checks the rain clouds before every lesson to make sure the courts are playable. He finds all ways and means to make the lesson efficient and effective. He brings his own equipment to more effectively dry up the court if it rains. He has equipment to make ball collection easy and ensure it doesn’t put a strain on your back. He changes his balls EVERY 2 WEEKS — making the game even more enjoyable. He is knowledgeable and provides technical assistance / correction vs just going through the motion of hitting the balls. This was my first time taking up tennis and he made it less daunting with simple step-by-step instructions and structured lessons. On top of all of that, he is highly administrative. He responds to emails fast and booking lessons are a breeze. You can see that he cares about what he is doing and that makes all the difference. Adult Classes

As we grow up and start juggling more responsibilities, the amount of stress we have inevitably increases. What we once thought of in school as stress, is now a breeze compared to what we have to deal with. Be it at work or at home with your family, there are a lot of things that require our attention. We have less time for exercises and few avenues to destress.

Tennis is one of the greatest ways to achieve balance in life. It is a fun and highly rewarding sport, and can be learnt at all ages. Just a couple hours of session each week is more than sufficient to keep your fresh and rejuvenated. If you’ve already been thinking of joining tennis classes, why not start now. Kid Classes

Tennis is an individual sport, which means that you have to take responsibility for your own improvements. There are no teammates there to train together with you, or push you to become better. The onus is on you. For kids, there are few better sports than to learn self-discipline. Taking ownership of your game, managing your time, pushing yourself. When done repeatedly, day after day, year after year, it is as strong a character building activity as anything.

Our trainers are firm but friendly, strict but encouraging. We work closely together with the kids to achieve long-term results, and not just temporarily satisfaction. At MyFitnessComrade, we are as invested in the growth and development of the kid as you are.

Group Training

There are few things quite as exciting as growing in the game of tennis with your sparring partner. By keeping pace with each other, you both can improve your game exponentially whilst still remaining competitive at the same time. There is something deeply satisfying about playing competitive tennis at the highest-level with your loved ones.

Group trainings allow you to improve your game together with a companion. It also serves as a bonding session. At the end of every lesson, not only have you gotten better in the game of tennis, you have also probably deepened your relationship with your friends and family members.

How we help

Tennis is one of the most technically demanding sports around. The way your wrist is positioned makes all the difference between a poor serve and an ace. When going for a backhand return, your body position should long be prepared long before the ball has crossed the net. Power is generated as much from your legs as it is from your hands.

Knowing the science behind the sports can go a long way in helping you chart incremental progression. Our tennis coaches at MyFitnessComrade combines both theoretical and practical approaches to help you improve your tennis game.

PHASE I (6 – 12 Months Old)

(We recommend for you to only enrol your infant into a swimming class once they have reached 6-months old.)

In the first part of these lessons, the focus will be on introducing them to an external body of water in a calm and safe manner. Water toys will be used to help infants feel more comfortable,, whilst our coaches may also be singing songs to help them relax. 

Once they have attained a level of comfort with the water, the second part of the lessons will be focused on developing a sense of rhythm in the water. We will work on their water movements and muscle coordination.

At the end of this phase, your infant should have a greater sense of spatial awareness, as well as comfort level with aquatic environments. Their sensory foundation will also likely be more developed, as are their social skills.

Flexible Training Venues

No matter what you need, we’ll find ways to accommodate. That means that if you live in a condo and want us to meet you at the tennis court downstairs, know that we will be there. Or maybe you live in a HDB and don’t know which tennis courts are available. Just let us know your residential area and we’ll figure the rest out.
